Can I fit a Steam Stopper onto my shower which has a dumper shower rose higher than the door height ?
Generally no, although there are some exceptions
I recently came across a dumper shower rose that was adjustable, so I was quite easily able to move the dumper down to sit under the ‘dome’ of the Steam Stopper.
We trimmed the dome really close to the drip strip of the Steam Stopper which meant the dumper sat up ( still above the shower ) but inside the ‘dome’ of the Steam Stopper.

Alternatively, we can manufacture a Clear piece of acrylic which sits vertically on top of the shower door, raising the height of the shower cubicle above the dumper Rose.
Then, along with fixed rails installed onto the wall, the Steam Stopper rests on top of the clear acrylic.
Examples can be seen here……

The image on the left has a Dumper Rose in the Dome area, the Shower on the right is 200mm higher than standard as their son is 1800 tall and still growing. This install has a clear acrylic sheet added to the front and 3 walls of which shower acrylic.
